It seemed like the Niagara Falls were the only tourist attraction in the US on my list of places to see that had not been done yet. So we packed our water bottles, collected our favorite CDs and jumped in the car for the 8 hour long drive to the falls. It was less grand and overwhelming than I had expected. Definitely something to see once in one's life but I was not spellbound as I had expected to be. Overall a good experience.

It seemed like the Niagara Falls were the only tourist attraction in the US on my list of places to see that had not been done yet. completly agree .. a big let down for all the hype i have heard about the place . Maid of teh Mist was OK .. but couldnt really make out what was so grand about that fall.. The waterfall at yosemite was better
